Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971, is an South African radio and television journalist and war reporter. She worked as a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politcally slanted story regarding the 2012 Benghazi attack "the most erroneous mistake I've made in my 10-year watch." In 2019 she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News offers a subscription-based streaming service. She said she was "dumpedby the company in March 2022. Logan was news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban during her studies (1988-1989) and later in the city's Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television in Africa, predominantly as an executive producer. After four years, she started freelance journalism. Assignments as a reporter/editor/producer for ITN, Fox/SKY News, CBS News (in London), ABC News (in Nairobi), NBC and European Broadcasting Union were all assigned to her. She was a reporter for CNN, reporting on incidents like the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the ongoing conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war
